We take great pride in establishing ourselves as one of the premier insulation installers and firestop contractors in Minnesota. Homeco Insulation, Inc. is a family owned and operated business established in 1986. Together, with years of administrative and carpentry experience behind them, the founders decided to follow their dreams of owning their own business offering quality installation of insulation products. Homeco started with one employee, and continues to grow and expand to provide premier insulation and firestopping services to our clients. The hard work and perseverance the founders started, continues with Mike and Lisa Ojile today.

Our History

2023 – Present Day

Purchased in September 2022 by Lisa and Mike Ojile
Lisa and Mike both have lived in the Twin Cities most of their lives, and currently live in Blaine MN, where they raised their four sons
Homeco Insulation still operates under the same family run values as it’s beginning focusing on commercial and multi-family residential

Acquired Industrial Coatings in 2018

Provides us the capabilities to spray Acoustical Insulations and Spray Applied Thermal Barriers

R & J Insulation Sold – 2017

Greg and Donna Gulden sold R & J Insulation to focus on their Union commercial construction business

New Owners 1996

Greg and Donna Gulden purchased Homeco Insulation and R & J Insulation from Donna’s parents
Vesta Firestopping, established in 2004, as a through penetration firestopping and perimeter fire containment

Established 1982

In the beginning Homeco Insulation primarily worked on residential construction
Homeco Insulation’s focus turned to commercial union construction and R. & J. Insulation was formed for the non-union residential construction

Community Action

Homeco is actively involved in supporting the community and recently participated in Operation Homefront’s Star-Spangled Babies event.

Operation Homefront is an organization that provides assistance and support to military families, and their Star-Spangled Babies event focuses on helping military families with young children.
